I have had an account with WhyPark for quite some time but its only over the last few weeks that I have realized how much can actually be done to customize and improve on the standard template.

Whypark has got quite a cult following and I was amazed when I saw the amount of work some people put in to change the look and feel of the sites which they park there.  Some, you just would not recognize as a WhyPark template.

Check out some of the sites in peoples signature on the Namepro’s forum and you will see what I mean. I guess for a one time payment of $97.00 to host 99 sites for life is a pretty good deal and I would say with limited sites parked at Whypark I have more than made back my initial investment so I am happy with that. Looking at some of things that can be done with Whypark sites makes me think I might try and improve the look and feel of some of my own but to be honest I opened the account to quickly get some websites up and running and that is certainly easy to do at Whypark. I already can host unlimited websites through my reseller hosting and have all the HTML editors such as XsitePro, Frontpage and Dreamweaver and have no problem installing different scripts and Wordpress etc and for all the customization you can do with WhyPark I really doubt it measures up to a self made site.

I am not sure if I will ever getting around to playing with the template especially as I tend to throw my “Boring” names there which just don’t inspire me to design better for them.

It gives an insight into some of the changes that are soon to come in to force – Perhaps when this all happens I should start to take my WhyPark sites more seriously.
